Description

The VHA s Network Contracting Office 20, intends to award a sole source contract to Marco Ophthalmic, Inc., 11825 Central Parkway, Jacksonville, FL 32224; to provide 2 EPIC 5100 Refraction Systems w/Contrasting Glare. Currently, the Government recognizes a single manufacturer and company able to provide this system. The contract will be firm-fixed price. This acquisition will be fulfilled under simplified acquisition procedures and other than full and open competition authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 09 August 2017. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered strictly for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
