Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Lobby M, Suite 2200, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, intends to solicit offers for various pieces of behavioral health furniture delivered FOB Destination to the VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System, 2121 Lake Ave, Ft. Wayne, IN 46805. It is anticipated that approximately 108 pieces will be ordered and the contractor will be required to go to the clinic location and assemble (if required) and install the furniture. This procurement is anticipated to be conducted using FAR part 13 under NAICS code 337127 and PSC 7195 as an unrestricted action. Anticipated issue date is 8/8/2017, anticipated closing date is 8/16/2017. The basis of award is LPTA Brand Name or Equal. Proposed furniture shall meet the following requirements to be considered technically acceptable: This project consists of the procurement, delivery, setup and installation of the following Brand Name items or their Equal: Krug Zola Behavioral Health One-Seat, Model ZOL3-BHF1111 or equal Qty: (15) Krug Zola Behavioral Health One-Seat Bariatric, Model ZOL3-BHF1111 or equal Qty: (9) Krug Zola Behavioral Health Two-Seat, Model ZOL3-BHF2111 or equal Qty: (6) Stance Healthcare Drum Table for Behavioral Health, Model DRT-24D-20-H-BH or equal Qty: (18) Stance Healthcare Fixed Height Multi-Purpose Table for BH, Trumpet Base, 36 D, Model HD-TB-36D or equal Qty: (12) Krug Solis Behavioral Health 21 Closed Arm, Upholstered Back, Model SOL2-GBHM21OPU or equal Qty: (36) Krug Solis Behavioral Health 30 Closed Arm, Upholstered Back, Model SOL2-GBHU30OPU or equal Qty: (12) All furniture shall either be the exact makes and models described above OR, IAW FAR part 11.104(b) an item may be considered Equal and be considered for award if it meets the following physical, functional, or performance characteristics: Krug Zola Behavioral Health One-Seat, Model ZOL3-BHF1111 or Equal: GREENGUARD certification or equivalent Lounge Chair Size (Overall): 29.25 W x 27 D x 34 H. Seat: 23 W X 19.25 D x 18.5 H. Designed for healthcare application and with manufacturer s warranty for health care use: 3 shift, 24-7/365 days, with a minimum of 12 years, including parts and labor. Lounge chair shall be fully upholstered, designed with durability to meet the demands of healthcare environment, including abrasion resistance and anti-microbial finish to support the reduction of fungal growth, and spores from germs, microbes and bacteria, and clean out space to assist with cleaning of product, and prevention of buildup of debris and germ. All components shall be assembled with tamper-resistant hardware. Arms shall be fully upholstered and enclosed and legs should be fully enclosed with a 3 vinyl-clad runner to prevent ligature points. Chair should have non-marring glides as well as a wall saver designed back so the back does not impact if chairs are pushed against wall. Seating shall have fully removable and upholstered seat and back covers, with standard moisture barrier. Upholstery to be graded-in 5 or E vinyl upholstery, 100% PVC free, and bleach cleanable. Upholstery shall be flame resistant, anti-microbial and meet 500,000 Double Rub test for durability.
