Description
Final Solicitation (without watermark) ATTACHED IS THE FINAL SOLICITATION (WITHOUT THE WATER MARK) FOR OFFERORS TO USE FOR THIS SOLICITATION. DISREGARD THE DRAFT COPY. IT WAS PREVIOUSLY ATTACHED BY MISTAKE. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, Contracting Division, 333 SW 1st Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97204 is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure services to install cable and conduit as part of the Applegate Dam Instrumentation Upgrades. This solicitation is a total set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 238210. The location of this work shall be conducted at the Applegate Dam and Reservoir near Jacksonville, Oregon, for the Corps of Engineers Rogue River Basin Project. The Period of Performance (POP) will be from the date of award through November 30, 2017. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the work for installation of rigid metal conduit (RMC), junction boxes, read-out boxes and data cable at the eastern side of the Applegate Dam and western side of the Applegate Dam. The Contractor shall also design and install posts into the ground at each junction box and securing of the boxes to the posts. There will be two separate interconnected systems that terminate at the two different locations of the dam. All installations shall meet requirements as stated in the NFPA 70 National Electric Code and IEEE C2 National Electrical Safety Code. All components of a vertical assembly will be rated by the manufacture to withstand 150 mph wind loading in accordance with TIA-222.
