Description
The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with TrustComm, located at 800 Corporate Drive, Suite 241, Stafford, VA 22554. The purchase order will procure engineering services that are required to execute sensor systems evaluation projects on Navy certified Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). The Navy is operating UAS and based on theater requirements, has developed and integrated sensor capabilities for use on the Aerosondoe that support customer operations. As threats evolve, existing sensor systems must be upgraded, and new sensor systems must be developed to counter these threats. As Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) technologies evolve and new platforms become available, sensor integration must be updated and adapted accordingly. Current sensors systems will be adapted and new systems will be developed for multiple platforms. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Information Operation (UAVIO) team of Code 561, SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific), is tasked by the Navy to integrate and deliver sensor systems into Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), sustain current sensor operations with repair and replacements, and train operators on use of the aircraft and sensor systems. The contractor shall provide engineering services by providing subject matter experts engineers to test, evaluate, repair, and modify the current configurations of TrustComm, Inc. (original equipment manufacturer) technology integrated into Government UAV platforms. Based on the aforementioned information, only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements in accordance with FAR 13.106 (b) (1) (i). Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing that they can fulfill the requirement of these services may be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of equipment and services provided.
