Description
Specifications National Programs & Contracts CMT within the Facilities Construction CMT of the United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for an Elevator Modernization project, at the United States Postal Service HQ's 475 L'Enfant Plaza, SW, Washington DC 20260. Please see attached specifications. The estimated cost of the work is between $6.5M - $9M; with construction completion no later than (1,258) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The proposal due date is 9/1/2017 by 3:00 PM EST. The pre-proposal meeting will be held on 8/11/2017 at 10:00 AM local time, on site. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: See Solicitation Attachment 11 - Evaluation Criteria and Attachment 12 - Proposal Instructions Bonding: Contractor must have the ability to obtain 100 percent performance and payment bonds for this project within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of a Notice of Intent to Award. Contractor will be responsible for coordination of all work in a manner that will not interfere with operations and coordinate all work related to this phased project with the Facility Manager or designee. Note: Successful offeror will be required to submit a Sub-Contracting Plan and Project Specific Safety Plan acceptable to the USPS Contracting Officer before a Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued.
