- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Vernal Field Office, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Uintah County (Sheriffs Office) to enforce the civil and criminal laws of the State of Utah and Uintah County on the public lands, waters, roads, and trails administered by the BLM within the Vernal Field Office boundaries. The proposed contract would include base work and option years. This action is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 13.106-1(b). The North American Industry Classification for this procurement is 561612 with a size standard of $20.5 million. This is a special notice only and is not a request for quotation or a formal solicitation. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability statement and must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
