Description
UPDATED TODAY: This is not an Alongside Refueling Requirement. No Aircraft is involved. This is a Ground Fuel Service Requirement. CORRECTION: TO CORRECT THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE. THE BASE CONTRACT IS FOR FOUR YEARS. I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. CORECTION MADE TO THE EXPECTED PERFORMANCE. EXPECTED PERFORMANCE IS AS FOLLOWS" The expected period of performance is April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2022, with one five-year option from April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2027. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy - FESAB anticipates issuing within the next 30 days, a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Government Owned, Contractor Operated (GOCO) bulk and retail fuel, and Alongside Aircraft Refueling services at Naval Submarine Base (NSB) Kings Bay, Georgia. The Contractor will be responsible for furnishing, managing, maintaining, and operating all mobile fuel servicing equipment required and necessary to support the facilities, equipment, vehicles, vessels that may transit, deploy to, or exercise from any or all of the aforementioned activities. This current alignment of bases and supported activities does not preclude the Contractor from changing or realigning base/support schemes; however, the Contractor must be cognizant of current base, command, control, and authority structures and gain the appropriate approvals and realign any support structure prior to making changes to the mode, means, or method of operations. The expected period of performance is April 1, 2018 through March 31, 2022, with one five-year option from April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2027. The NAICS Code is 493190 and the threshold for SB is $27,500,000.00 in annual receipts. It is DLA Energy-FESAB's intention for this to be solicited as a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside Requirement. DLA Energy will conduct the pre-proposal conference on September 6, 2017, the time and location TBD. More information to follow.
