- Brand Name Only Cummins Remanufactured Long Block Diesel Engine for PistenBully Snow Groomers QTY: 2 for Yellowstone National Park. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) P17PS02058 A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. This requirement is set aside for total small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333618 and the small business size standard is 1500 employees. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor providing the best value to the Government. Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. REQUIREMENT Yellowstone National Park requires QTY: Two (2) Remanufactured Long Block Diesel Engines for PistenBully Snow Groomers. This is a Brand Name Only Cummins Engine Components by Factory Authorized Cummins Engine Rebuilder. Brand Name Justification Attached.
