- Master List PWS Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: This is NOT a Request for Proposals. Respondents shall be responsible for any costs associated with preparing responses to this Request for Information (RFI). This is NOT a developmental effort. Redstone Test Center (RTC) has an ongoing requirement for non-personal services associated with the inspection, testing, and maintenance of approximately 986 fire extinguishers located in various buildings located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. In accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement and Master List, the prospective vendor will provide recommendations to the Government of whether to recharge, repair, or replace the applicable extinguisher. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be firm fixed priced, with a base year and four, 12 month option years. This RFI will help the Government to identify whether industry is able to meet its requirement. It is anticipated that this requirement will be set aside for small businesses local to the Huntsville, Alabama area. Companies who desire to participate are highly encouraged to submit a response which supports the company's claim that they possess the technical capabilities to meet the Government's requirement. In response to this request, interested parties should identify themselves as a large or small business under NAICS code 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, and identify whether or not an adequate accounting system is in place to support contract types other than Firm Fixed Priced (FAR 16.104(i)). The response should include point(s) of contact. The response should be Microsoft or Adobe formatted, limited to no more than ten (10) pages, and with no additional attachments. Submit response to Contract Specialist, Dominic Milligan at dominic.e.jenkins-milligan.civ@mail.mil ALL requests for further information must be made via email. Telephone requests for additional information will not be honored. For questions, potential respondents shall email the Contract Specialist at dominic.e.jenkins-milligan.civ@mail.mil. The Government will review submissions as they are received. No report or feedback on your submission will be provided. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN TUESDAY, 15 August 2017 AT 10:00 AM EST. However, the government reserves the right to close this Sources Sought notice once they have received adequate responses.
