- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5 as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number M6890917Q7678 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is unrestricted. The proposed contract action will result in a Firm Fixed Price Commercial item type contract, NAICS code 334419. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-94, effective 19 Jan 2017. The Government intends to purchase brand name 2 units of CISCO Intrusion Detection System (IDS)/Firewall components; 4 units of CISCO Edge Switch components; 2 units of CISCO Identity Services Engine VM (eDelivery); 2 units of EMC2 Storage Area Network with configurations; 2 units of HP Network Server with configurations; 2 units of Rack and Uninterruptible Power Supply; and 2 units of Panasonic Toughbook, CF-532ALZYNM. See attachment line items 1 - 14 for descriptions, part numbers, components, and configurations. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to MCTSSA (Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity, Bldg. 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055-5171. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. The government will award a contract resulting from most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the items and services offered to meet the Government requirement, (ii) Certified CISCO Distributor, (iii) price, and (iv) past performance. The following FAR and DFARS provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition.
