- The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR13.106-1(b). only one source reasonably available (urgency), to ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation, 4355 EXCEL PKWY STE 800, Addison, TX 75001. ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation will provide emergency elevator repair service. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The place of performance is for the Saint Louis VA Medical Center, Jefferson Barracks. The Saint Louis VAMC is located at 1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, Saint Louis, MO 63106-1621. The NAICS code is 561210 with a size standard of $38.5 Million. The solicitation number is VA255-17-Q-0887. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of a one-time repair service. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 11 August 2017 at 2:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
