- The Mission Installation Contracting Command Fort Belvoir is issuing a solicitation to award a single, firm fixed price service contract on behalf of PL ALTESS RADFORD, VA. Fort Belvoir has a requirement for the Preventative Maintenance (PM) of (2) Switchgears (one Caterpillar Switchgear and one GE Switchgear). This requirement will be set-aside for small business vendors to foster competition and encourage support in determining fair and reasonable pricing. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price to include a base and four (4) option years. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 with a size standard of $15 Million. Question: In which Option Year does the end user wish to perform the triennial injection testing? Answer: We would like to have the triennial primary injection testing done within Option year Two (2). All Bidders must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. Faxed offers and amendments will not be accepted. Due to bidder's questions needing to be answered the Extended Closing Date on this solicitation will be 11 August 2017 10:00 AM Eastern. An amendment will be issued to follow to correct that on the solicitation. Bidders are allowed to participate in a site visit at PL ALTESS Bldg 450, Radford VA 24143 on 9 August 2017 at 10 AM. If a bidder is interested in participating, you are to email me at courtney.n.laney.civ@mail.mil by 8:00 AM Eastern by 9 August 2017. If there is no email submitted to that address by that time the bidder is unable to access the site.
