- Nitrogen and Helium Cylinders Contractor shall provide "as requested" rental specialty gas cylinders at 99.999% purity as list below for use with the Gas Chromatography/Liquid Chromatography (GC/LC) and the Mass Spectrometer (MS) Instruments located at the Navy Drug Screening Laboratory (NDSL), 2500 Rodgers Street, Great Lakes, IL. Bldg. # 5501. NDSL GL will submit request via email with requested number of tanks needed. Contractor shall deliver M-F during the hours of 0730-1600, per request only. Quantities will be based on an as need basis but not to exceed quantities indicated for the Period of Performance 1 October 2017 - 30 September 2022. Point of contact is the Supply Technician at 847-688-2045, ext. 111 or Purchasing Agent at ext 118. a. NI200 (size 200), Industrial Grade, 235 cubic feet - Nitrogen Cylinders - non-flammable gas, UN1066 H Tank 0183. Deliver 30-40 nitrogen cylinders every other week for a total of 26 deliveries per fiscal year on an as needed basis. b. HE UHP200 (size 200), 213 cubic feet - Helium - non-flammable gas, UN1064 P Tank 0131. Deliver 3-5 Helium cylinders every other week for a total of 26 deliveries per fiscal year on an as needed basis. Helium must be Ultra high Purity 99.999% pure. c. Cylinder - Monthly Flat Rate Rental (FRR) for all cylinders. d. No more than 4 emergency deliveries per fiscal year.
