- Description
- The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price contract to Computrition, Inc., 8521 Fallbrook Ave. Ste., 100, Canoga Park, GA 91304-3236 to acquire software database, build user licenses, virtual and on-site training and maintenance support. The software for this proposed action will be installed on VA Network server located in Little Rock, AR, that is currently supporting other medical centers within the VISN. The proposed action is for an activating medical center in VISN 16. The proposed period of performance is for the twelve-month period post contract award, with four 12-month option periods for renewal of Nutrition and Food Service (NFS) licenses, maintenance and service support. Food Service operations and clinical support software will allow SLVHCS staff to easily manage multiple food service operations within current resources as well as, allows for the creation of customized programs for specific patient populations. Food Service Management module, which functions as a back house automated food service management system and be comprised of at least sub-modules such as ingredients, recipes, and menus. In addition, SLVHCS will provide veteran-centric room service dining in acute care, a requirement of this procurement. SLVHCS has standardized on video guest edutainment system, for which the food service software should interface, allowing veterans to access food service menus and ordering options using their hospital room s smart television. Software licenses provide an extension of the existing food service software functionality and support concurrent users. The maintenance support includes Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Remote Access, which currently utilizes a map based interface and provides for existing Master Virtual Private network account configuration for remote access. There are four medical centers in VISN 16 that utilize Computrition software. Each site can customize this server based solution to their site-specific needs. Computrition Foodservice Operations Management Pro/Nutrition Care Management Platinum Automated diet office, room service on-demand meal ordering and tray tracking capability will meet the needs of the SLVHCS. Award will be made on or about August 16, 2017. The NAICS Code is 511210 Other Metal Container Manufacturing. This notice is NOT a request for quote, a solicitation of offers, or an invitation for bid. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quote, which may be considered by the agency to leslie.robinson@va.gov by Friday, August 11, 2017.
