- Specification Request For Information 1. This will be an official Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with FAR Part 52.215-3. Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated will be solely at the interested party's expense. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on Federal Business Opportunities (FedbizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. 2. The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) intends to procure one (1) heavy-duty pallet truck at Dyess AFB, TX that can handle 10,000 lb. capacity. The pallet truck must provide a wider fork width to move heavy equipment without any weight balance concerns or increased risk of expensive equipment tipping over during movement. Reference the attached Specifications for minimum fork width and other pallet truck requirements. The NAICS Code for this effort is 333924, Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing. Respondents should indicate their size in relation to this size standard and indicate socio-economic status (i.e. SB, 8(a), HUBZone, EDWOSB, WOSB, or SDVOSB). 3. The aforementioned information along with interest and capability statements are requested to be provided no later than 15 August 2017. 4. The information that is received from this RFI will be used to make the best decision on how to proceed with this acquisition. All information will be kept within the 7th Contracting Squadron, and will not be shared with any other potential offerors.
