Description

PFM - Redacted J&A The U. S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 on behalf of Project Manager - Towed Artillery Systems (PM-TAS) awarded a new $5,108,945.40 Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract for Primer Feed Mechanism (PFM) in support of M777 Howitzers on a sole source basis to Triumph Actuation Systems - Connecticut, LLC, 1395 Blue Hills Ave., Bloomfield, CT 06002-1309. This requirement was solicited as Solicitation No. W15QKN-16-R-0204 and awarded as Contract No. W15QKN-17-C-0070. The Justification and Approval document for Other Than Full and Open Competition was approved under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement, and addresses duplication costs and unacceptable delays to the Government if soliciting to another vendor. Attached to this notice please find the redacted Justification and Approval document in accordance with FAR 6.305(a).
