- 17Q0148_sol N0016417Q0148 - SOLE SOURCE - SHOCK ABSORBERS - FSC 2510 - NAICS 336330 Issue Date 08 AUG 2017 - Closing Date 11 AUG 2017 - Time 10:00 A.M. EST This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N0016417Q0148 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract as a Sole Source Procurement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, TAYLOR DEVICES, INC., 90 TAYLOR DR. P.O.BOX 748, NORTH TONAWANDA, NY 14120-0748. All other offeror's may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Base Award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), contract for the following: CLIN 0001, Base Award - Shock Absorbers, NAME BRAND ONLY, Taylor Devices, Inc., P/N 4DP-7982-01 BASE QTY: 52 each. CLIN 0002, OPTION #1 -- QTY: 1 - 40 each (estimated). Effective date of award through 24 months (2 years). Entire value (base award plus option) shall not exceed $150,000.00. Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Please reference delivery schedule in RFQ. The anticipated award date is September 5, 2017. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted. FedBizOpps may be accessed at http://www.fbo.gov Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted via FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
