- Amendment 0001 - Please sign and return the first page with revised quote This solicitation has been amended. The requirement for 7K PTAC units has been increased from 10 to 14. The solicitation close has been extended. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a vendor to supply Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) units. These units will be installed by Government personnel on a Quarters Barge, to replace Amana model # PTC073B00HJ and PTC093B00HJ units that have exceeded their useful life. Units will be installed in existing sleeves, and connected to existing wall-mounted wired thermostats. Units must have hydronic heating capability, compatible with installed Amana hydronic heating loops. Installation shall not require extensive electrical, plumbing or exterior installation work. Units supplied must be specified brand name and model, or equal. Equal units shall match the specified models in fit and function. Fourteen (14) Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) units - 7,000 BTU class Brand Name: Amana PTC073G00HXXX or equal Voltage: 230/208 Four (4) Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) units - 9,000 BTU class Brand Name: Amana PTC093G00HXXX or equal Voltage: 230/208 Units must be compatible with hydronic heat system, including Amana wall-mounted wired thermostats. Must include 15 Amp power plugs Units shall be delivered to Fountain City, Wisconsin address listed no later than 6 weeks after contract date (ADC). This Request for Quotes (RFQ) is brand name or equal. Quotes for units other than those specified (Amana PTC073G00HXXX and PTC093G00HXXX) must include all additional parts (adapter kits, etc.) to make the units compatible with existing sleeves, hydronic coils and wired thermostats.
