Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 8.4, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number is AG-0521-S-17-0020 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price service contract for this requirement. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Pullman, WA 99164 has a requirement for Two (2) Thermogravimetric Analyzers: Specifications: -Dual configuration analyzes minimum of 38 samples simultaneously -Perform automated batch thermogravimetric analyses without the required cooling and dessicator time of manual methods -Obtain multiple thermogravimetric analyses such as moisture and ash from a single sample -Pneumatic carousel control mechanism -Temperature up to minimum 700 Celsius -Integrated balance with 0.0001 g resolution -Uses ceramic crucibles -Able to cycle moisture and ash for flour analysis in under 4 hours Each offeror shall include their proposed delivery schedule (in days after award) as part of their quotation. Award will be made to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offer.
