- 001 - Modification to change deadline to receive quotes from August 08, 2017 to August 16, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. CST. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make an award to a responsible offeror for the provision of Burial and Mortuary Services at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Carswell, located in Fort Worth, Texas. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from the date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government. The estimated quantities are defined in the schedule of items within the solicitation. Services will be performed for individuals who are in the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. The solicitation will be made available on or about July17, 2017, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
