Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HubZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of performing the work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned small Business, Veteran-owned small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small disadvantaged business, or Small Business HUBZone business and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. Podiatry Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) Statement of Work Statement of Work SICU CIC CONSOLE REPAIR VA NJ HCS East Orange, NJ Background: The CIC console in SICU Intensive Care sn SDY16312126SA needs the main board replaced. There is no patient waveform on the second monitor. Need to have the service rep come in for repair. Cannot isolate patient waveforms on the second monitor. Objectives: The vendor will provide all parts, labor, materials and services necessary to install brackets and monitors to operate according to manufactures specs. The contractor will provide repair service which may consist of calibration, adjusting, replacing parts and maintaining the equipment, including all intervening calls necessary between regular services calibration. The contractor will provide documentation of parts replaced and calibration of unit. Period of Performance: 30 days after receipt of order. Place of Performance: VANJHCS East Orange Campus 385 Tremont Avenue East Orange, New Jersey 07018 Warranty: One year at a minimum None Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). It is desirable that any Offeror to have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Businesses who respond to a solicitation on this project must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. All interested Offerors should submit to email john.redmond2@va.gov. All information submissions shall be marked Attn: John Redmond, Contracting Specialist RFI VA242-17-N-1013. Responses are due BY 9:00A.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) Friday 8/11/2017. After review of the responses to this announcement, the Government intends to proceed with the acquisition and a formal synopsis and subsequent solicitation announcement will be published.
