- Description
- The work includes, but is not limited to all plant, labor, and materials to construct two rock sills at Lower Pool 2 of the Mississippi River, just upstream of Lock and Dam 2 and Hastings, Minnesota, one on the right descending bank from River Mile 819.5 to 819.8 and one on the left descending bank from River Mile 818.4 to 818.9. The structures would be built of riprap with a top width of approximately 10 feet. Four foot diameter boulders will be spaced out along the top of the structure to provide visibility. Staging of rock may occur on the downstream side of L&D 2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990; Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $36.5M. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation is issued as an Invitation for Bids and is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
