- This sources sought notice is for market research and acquisition planning purposes only. The U.S. Geological Survey, Office of Acquisitions and Grants, is seeking suppliers of water quality monitoring instruments equivalent to those produced by Eureka Environmental Corporation ( ¿Eureka ¿). A list of required items with salient characteristics is attached. Vendors shall be able to produce and calibrate/maintain/repair these items. The NAICS code is 334513; the size standard is 750 employees. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement no later than 18 August 2017. Capability statements will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, and management capability of interested offerors to furnish these products and services. Capability statements will be used to assist in determining an appropriate procurement strategy; in particular, whether a set-aside is feasible or if an alternate procurement strategy is warranted. The projected award is for five years. Capability statements should demonstrate the firm's experience related to the supply as well as the diagnostic/calibration and repair services of such hydrographic instruments and include the following information: firm's name, address, DUNS number, business size and type (8(a), HUB Zone, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.). Include a point of contact ¿s name, e-mail address, and telephone number. Capability statements must be received no later than 18 August 2017 at 2:00 p.m. EDST.
