- Purchase description This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved due to only one source being available (FAR 8.405-6(b)(1) or 16.505(b)(2)(ii)). G-Force Tooling, LLC is a sole source manufacturer and supplier of all of their special purpose tool products. The GAARNG leadership has determined that the use of this specific organization is necessary as all efforts were made to locate companies that make the required products that are exclusively used for specific UH-60 aircraft maintenance. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies/services that will satisfy the agency requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333999. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may contact the USPFO for Georgia via e-mail at donna.l.spence2.mil@mail.mil and be considered by the government. If no responses are received by 1700 EST 11 AUGUST 2017, a Sole Source contract will be pursued with G-Force Tooling, LLC.
