- The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for the delivery of five (5) SOMMER RG-30 non-contact surface velocity radar sensors to the Mississippi Water Science Center in Jackson, Mississippi to be delivered 30 days from the date of award. There are no option periods. RFQ G17PS00689 will be issued on or about 08/08/2017 with written quotes due on or about 08/17/2017. This RFQ is posted as Brand Name Only. In order to maintain continuity in the equipment at sites which will be serviced by various staff, and due to the unique and distinct programming and operating methods of this instrument, the same equipment needs to be deployed at field sites. Only this brand name model will meet the need to maintain continuity of data. The NAICS code is 334513. The size standard is 750 employees. The anticipated award date of the contract is 08/18/2017. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
