- SF-1449 PWS WDOL RFQ PACKAGE The Coast Guard Academy has a continuing requirement for contracted support with both Advisory and Assistance Services. The A&AS will be required to visit the USCGA typically once per week, to meet with faculty and/or cadets and (as necessary) interact with various CG and external commands. The A&AS shall primarily assist in preparation of technical papers for up to five (5) conferences per year (including, but not limited to Institute of Navigation NTM/GNSS/AM, IEEE PLANS, IEEE Homeland Security Conference, and International Conference on Integrated Navigation Systems). A&AS primarily is comprised of two major categories of services: Information Management and Electrical Engineering expert opinion with respect to new course development and technical direction with senior projects. Specific courses being considered are elective courses in robotics and advanced signal processing (including image processing). In the case of sponsored projects, colleagues in the field sometimes need in-depth analyses or a report that is beyond the scope of that which is delivered by a senior cadet. As requested, the A&AS shall conduct additional research to produce a "final-form" deliverable for a project sponsor. See attached Performance Work Statement for detailed requirements.
