Description

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify eligible parties having an interest in a Performance Based Logistics (PBL) program to support the Mark 41 Vertical Launching System (VLS) requirements for the Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Efforts under this contract will include stocking, warehousing, repair, modification and/or replacement, storage, and providing of Ready-for-Issue condition assets for those components included in the Attachment A. The PBL contract will require an integrated product life cycle approach whereby the contractor will assume responsibility for the management and support functions related to the PBL such as engineering and logistics support. The PBL contractor will be required to meet established supply response times through WRA/LRU repair and replacement, reliability oversight, as well as inventory, configuration, and obsolescence management. Please refer to Attachment A for a list of all items “ national stock number (NSN), part number and FSC codes “ that will be part of this proposed effort. NAVSUP WSS reserves the right to modify (add or delete items) the list as needed at a later date. Government Source Approval prior to any contract award is required in accordance with OPNAVINST 4790.14B Navy Depot Maintenance Inter-Service Review Procedures. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed requirement are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 2 PM EDT on 07 August 2017.
