BELOW IS THE 'FIAR SUPPORT BIDDER'S LIBRARY RULES OF ENGAGEMENT' FOR FULL INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REQUEST A SESSION TO REVIEW ALL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THIS REQUIREMENT. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED FINANCIAL IMPROVEMENT & AUDIT READINESS (FIAR) Bidders’ Library Review FA7014-17-R-5002 General Information: • Audience: Interest Offerors for the FIAR Requirement • Draft Solicitation Number: FA7014-17-R-5002 Description: THIS IS A NOTICE FOR A BIDDERS’ LIBRARY REVIEW. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information solicited or provided as a result of this notice. This is not a commitment by the Government to issue an official Request for Proposal (RFP), nor pay any proposal or proposal preparation costs. The Government will NOT assume liability for costs incurred by participants for travel expenses, or any other expense associated with attendance. The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) Contracting Directorate is hosting a Bidders’ Library Review starting 15 August 2017 to 22 August 2017, at the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Arlington, VA. The Bidders’ Library Review will allow the AFDW to provide business partners access to information related to this requirement to support future Air Force FIAR requirement. Bidders’ Library Review Address: Air Force Office of Scientific Research 875 N. Randolph St. Ste 325 Arlington, VA 22203 Registration for this event is required. Attendance at the Bidders’ Library Review is limited to a maximum of 4 individuals per prime contractor to include teaming partners. Each vendor will be given access to review the Bidders’ Library for a total of one (1) day for up to four (4) hours with a max of eight (8) individuals per potential company/vendor or representative. Individuals not registered prior to the event will not be admitted. To register for the Bidders’ Library Review, vendors must respond by email to the FIAR POC at usaf.jbanafw.afdw-staff.mbx.afdw-fiar-follow-on-contract@mail.mil no later than 12:00 PM (EDT), Friday, 11 August 2017. Any questions regarding registration should be sent to the email above. Registration emails shall include the following: 1) Subject line of email: “Registration for FIAR Bidders’ Library Review” 2) Company Name, Individual Name, State/Federal ID #, Expiration Date Vendors will be required to email usaf.jbanafw.afdw-staff.mbx.afdw-fiar-follow-on-contract@mail.mil by 12:00 PM (EDT), Friday, 11 August 2017 to register for time slots and will be reserved on a first-come first-served basis. No changes to reserved dates will be accepted. Timeslots will be a morning session and an afternoon session. Please indicate a preference of the 7:30 am to 11:30 am session or the 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm session in your email. These sessions will be filled based on time of request by each potential company/vendor or representative. Our office will provide a response email and timeslot once each request is logged in to our system. All requests will have timeslot notification by 4:00 pm on Friday, 11 Aug 2017. Parking is limited for this area and it is highly recommended to use the metro (Ballston Metro Stop is closest). Rules of Engagement 1. Maximum 8 personnel 2. No electronic devices allowed in the room (cell phones, tablets, cameras, etc.) 3. Individuals are able to bring note pads and writing instruments 4. Unlimited notetaking 5. Maximum time is 4 hours per company/vendor or representative 6. No questions pertaining to the requirement, only clarification about documentation, if required Note: Ensure all attendees bring a Government-issued ID for identification purposes.
