Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Phoenix Area Office, Glendale, AZ has a requirement for a contractor to furnish and install wildlife water drinkers at the Tucson Mitigation Corridor and Rancho del Cielo located in Pima County, Arizona. The requirements for this scope of work consist of the following, but not limited to: 1.Furnish and install three (3) wildlife water drinkers at specified site locations; 2.Furnish and install solar pumps to existing Government-Owned water wells, and; 3.Furnish and install fencing around water drinker 3. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a corresponding small business size standard of $15M. This requirement will be solicited and awarded using the methods outlined in FAR Part 13 ¿ Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price construction type. The estimated period of performance is anticipated to begin September 25, 2017 with an anticipated completion date of January 4, 2018. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The anticipated period of performance is 100 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The RFQ and any amendments to the RFQ will be available only through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) (www.fbo.gov) website. The extent of the work will be described in the RFQ when it is posted on or about August 11, 2017. Offers will be due on or about August 31, 2017. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. No other information will be available before the RFQ is posted. All interested parties are responsible for checking the FBO website to ensure that they have the most current information. Offerors are required to have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Offerors may register in SAM at http://www.sam.gov. SAM is a new system combining federal procurement systems into one new system. This consolidation is being done in phases. The first phase of SAM includes the functionality from the following systems: Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Federal Agency Registration (Fedreg), Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) and Excluded Parties List System (EPLS).
