Description

Intent to Sole Source The Department of Veterans Affairs, Durham VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham North Carolina 27705-3875, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a contract to Vance Industrial Electronics, Inc., 1208 Belmont Street, Burlington, North Carolina 27215-6933 on a sole source basis utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, in accordance with FAR 13.106(b), Soliciting from a single source. This requirement is to acquire annual preventative maintenance services for 75 Variable Frequency Drives located at the Durham VA Medical Center. The contractor should be a manufacturer s recommended dealer. The contractor should be able to factory certify all listed equipment back to manufacturer s recommendations. The contractor should provide emergency service 24 hours a day seven days a week. This response requires unlimited emergency call back services for emergency repairs, located at the Durham VA Medical Center. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received in writing within three calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
