Delivery to Bethesda, Maryland 20892 approximately 45 days after receipt of award. The BD FACSCelesta flow cytometer must have the following characteristics: • must use true photomultiplier tube photon detectors • must have 3 lasers, 12 colors • must be able to utilize combinations of fluorescent antibodies • vendor must offer full warranty and service for the first year • must maintain sensitivity at high sample acquisition speed • must operate BD Diva Software • must fit space limitation in the lab (23in x 23in x 24in) The IAS lab has worked with flow cytometers using similar configurations as the BD FACSCelesta. The lab will no longer have ready access to these existing flow cytometers. The IAS lab has an urgent need to acquire their own flow cytometer that will serve their daily usage, and will allow the lab to continue to use protocols that have been established over many years of experimenting. This will also allow the comparison of data obtained previously with future data to be obtained. The use of another model flow cytometry system the lab will not be able to use any past protocol data, therefore limiting their experimental processes. All responsible sources who can provide the same equipment may submit a response that will be considered by email (subject line to reference NIAID-RFQ-17-1857558) to Tonia Alexander at talexander@niaid.nih.gov, by 5:00 pm eastern standard time Thursday, August 17, 2017.
