- Sources Sought Notice No. VA248-17-N-1435 This is not a solicitation announcement; this is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size status relative to NAICS Code 339112; Size Standard of 500 employees. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to form a reasonable expectation that two or more small business concerns owned and controlled by veterans will submit offers and that the award can be made at a fair and reasonable price that offers best value to the United States. Responses to this notice are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Medical Center 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando FL 32827, VHA Network 08 Contracting Office is seeking information concerning possible sources to provide the salient characteristics of the equipment described below. CO2 Insufflator. This product must be compatible with Tank (D or E) or DISS Wall CO2 and all major G! Endoscopes. All interested firms should provide the following information: company size, company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, veteran status (VOSB or SDVOSB), capability statement to provide the above equipment (Please list Brand and part number of the equipment that you plan to quote), and a statement describing whether there is a reasonable expectation a quote will be submitted at a fair and reasonable price that offers best value to the United States. Responses to this notice shall be emailed to: Marie Smith, Contracting Officer, marie.smith4@va.gov. Telephone responses are discouraged due to the large number of firms being surveyed under this NAICS Code. Responses must be submitted no later than 16 August 2017, 4 pm eastern standard time. This notice is intended to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective quotes list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
