- Sole Source Justification OFFADD>USDA, ARS, ERRC, Administrative Office; 600 East Mermaid Lane; Wyndmoor, PA 19038 SUBJECT-36-MATHIS LABCOATER DRYER WITH COATING DEVICE TYPE LTE-S <SOLNBR>AG-3JL0-SS-17-0013 <ISSUEDATE>08-10-2017 <RESPDATE>08-18-2017 <CONTACT>Point of Contact, Regina Dennis, Contract Specialist, (215)233-6553 The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), ERRC, Dairy and Functional Foods (DFF) Research Unit in Wyndmoor, PA, intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Werner Mathis USA Inc., in Concord, NC on a sole source basis, to furnish and deliver (FOB) Destination (1) Mathis Labcoater Dryer with Coating Device Type LTE-S, Drying Chamber, Mathis Graphic Process Controller Type Univision, Electric-Box, Coating Device, ART-LTE-S; IR radiation pyrometer for non-contact measurement of the sample surface temperature LTE-0262/; Material Holder MHR-112279; Accessory for Dryer ART-5020; Accessories for coating device LTE-0116/; Shared import, duty, packing & freight from MATHIS AG to Mathis USA; Domestic freight charges from Mathis USA in Concord, NC to the Eastern Regional Research Center in Wyndmoor, PA. This will be a firm fixed price contract. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the Government in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 (current as of FAC 2005-94 & 95). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS is 423830.
