- StressVest SOW THIS SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (8[a], HUBZONE, SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine the interest and capabilities of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339999 - All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Vendors are reminded that only Contracting Officers are authorized to commit the government to the obligation of funds. At this time, no solicitation exists, therefore, requests for a copy of a solicitation will not be permitted. The vendor will have the capability to provide non- projectile use of force firearm tactical training equipment for a minimum of four role players such as StressVest equipment or equal items and must meet the following requirements: -Each role player must be equipped with vests, face sensors, and side panels capable of registering/recording hits. -Each "hit" must have the capability of inflicting a pain penalty through vibration and electric shock (setting controlled). -The system must include (4) M9 and (4) M4 weapons/conversion kits emitting eye safe laser pulse when fired (non-projectile). -The system must include an instructor controller tablet to configure/control vests and monitor hits in real-time. Interested parties shall furnish the following minimum information: 1. Company name and address. 2. Company point of contact name, telephone number, and email address. 3. Company business size and status (i.e. Large Business, Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, ect.), the number of years in business. 4. If the company holds a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Contract, please list the GSA Contract Number. 5. Capabilities/Qualifications: A short written response stating capacity to fulfill this requirement. All information received in response to this notice is marked as proprietary and will be handled accordingly. IAW FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the government to form a binding contract. Vendors will not be compensated for any costs incurred as a result of responding to this Sources Sought Notice. At this time, no solicitation exists, therefore, requests for a copy of a solicitation will not be permitted.
