- Hazardous Tree Removal at Homestead National Monument of America in Beatrice, Nebraska Solicitation Number P17PS02397 This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office Major Acquisition Buying Office (MWRO MABO), 601 Riverfront Drive Omaha, NE 68102, seeks a qualified firm to provide tree removal services for Homestead National Monument of America in Beatrice, Nebraska. The solicitation document, with incorporated provisions and clauses, are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) #FAC 2005-95, effective January 19, 2017. This procurement is a total small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.203(b) and FAR 19.501(c). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561730, Landscaping Services, and the small business size standard is $7.5 M. The resulting contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order with one contract line item. U.S. Department of Labor Wage Rates, Wage Determination No 15-5365 Rev 04, Date: 08/01/2017 applies. Site Visit: Offerors are highly encouraged to attend a site visit. You must notify the Contract Specialist to schedule a site visit by sending an email request to Bridget_Parizek@nps.gov. Site visit location: Homestead National Monument of America, 8523 West State Highway 4, Beatrice, NE 68310. Information provided at the site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. A record of the visit shall be made and any questions/answers will be furnished to all prospective offerors via an amendment posted to www.fbo.gov. To be considered, offerors must possess and maintain a valid Dun & Bradstreet number and have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov at the time of contract award. SAM registration must not show exclusions or delinquent federal debt. Lack of an active registration in SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. For more information on SAM Registration, please visit www.sba.gov and www.sam.gov. Responses are due to National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office Major Acquisition Buying Office on or before 2:00 PM Central Time, on August 14, 2017. Late offers may not be considered.
