- Description
- The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) intends to negotiate and award under the authority of FAR Part 13 for Into-Plane Delivery of Aviation Fuels. JPATS estimates purchasing approximately 106,000 gallons of Jet A fuel from Eagle Aviation Resources Ltd / dba Atlantic Aviation, 275 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas Nevada 89169. The JPATS - Las Vegas operation is currently located within the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) area of Atlantic Aviation, on the general aviation side of the McCarran International Airport. Atlantic Aviation is the only supplier with the unique capabilities that will satisfy the agency. Awarding to any other vendor would result in unacceptable delays, added costs and pose security risks. The period of performance will be from October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2018. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement will be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested and capable sources should respond to the POC, providing your capabilities and a brief synopsis of your ability to meet the support required not later than 12:00 pm (noon) EST, August 21, 2017.
