- Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo Texas, requires a contract for the requirement for the Packing and Crating Services for inbound, outbound, and local area drayage for Goodfellow AFB, Texas. The Contractor all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified as government-furnished in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM). The requirement will have three (3) separate schedules as stated below: 1.OUTBOUND 2.INBOUND 3.INTRA-CITY and INTRA-AREA MOVES For Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX, the packing and crating services will access global placement for outbound relocation, receive global crating networks for inbound, and enable intra-city/intra-area moves for DoD personnel. The following counties of Texas will constitute as local area that the vendor will be responsible for all packing and crating for Goodfellow AFB: GAINES; DAWSON; ANDREWS; MARTIN; ECTOR; MIDLAND; GLASSCOCK; ECTOR; STERLING; COKE; RUNNELS; COLEMAN; CRANE; UPTON; REAGAN; IRION; TOM GREEN; CONCHO; CROCKETT; SCHLEICHER; MENARD; SUTTON; KIMBLE; GARZA; KENT; LYNN; TERRY; YOAKUM. This requirement is being offered through full and open competition with no set-asides. The proposed procurement action for is a Firm Fixed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period and four (4), one-year, option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 484210, Used Household and Office Goods Moving $27.5 million. The Request for Proposal is expected to be issued on or about 15 August 2017 with an anticipated closing date of 6 September 2017. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. NOTICE TO OFFEROR(S)/SUPPLIER(S): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
