- Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Cabinet door and drawer removal and replacement at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System (VAPAHCS) Fisher House kitchens and laundry room. The requirement does not include replacing the entire cabinet system but only the cabinet doors and drawers, toekicks, and other accessories. The solicitation number for this RFQ VA261-17-Q-0930. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 14, 2017, with an anticipated quote due date of August 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM PST. A site visit is scheduled at the VAPAHCS Fisher House (3801 Miranda Ave. Building 8 Palo Alto, CA 94304) on August 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM PST. Interested vendors should meet at the front entrance of the Fisher House. A site visit is highly recommended as there are no formal design drawings. The government anticipates awarding a purchase order under FAR 13 procedures. The anticipated period of performance is 14 business days. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 238350, size standard $15 million. IAW VAAR 836.204 the magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 - $100,000.00. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Nicole.do@va.gov not later than August 23, 2017 at 4:00 PM PST. BACKGROUND: The Fisher House was constructed in 2006 by Vance Brown Builders. The existing cabinets/doors/accessories are from the original construction.
