- The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA will be hosting an Combined Industry Day for the 5-Year Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) Program & the 5-Year Vandenberg AFB Paving Requirement on Tuesday, 29 August 2017, at 9:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST). The purpose of this meeting is to receive industry feedback on the draft solicitations, specifications, and requirements. Following the meeting, representatives from the 30th Contracting Squadron will be available to conduct one-on-one meetings to discuss both the SABER/Paving programs. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 19.805-1(a)(1), the SABER requirement is a 8(a) Competitive acquisition set-aside for 8(a) contractors with an SBA bona-fide place of business located in California operating under the NAICS code 236220. The applicable SBA Small Business Size Standard is $36.5M. IAW FAR 19.805-1(a)(1), the PAVING requirement is a 8(a) Competitive acquisition set-aside for 8(a) contractors with an SBA bona-fide place of business located in California operating under the NAICS code 237310. The applicable SBA Small Business Size Standard is $36.5M. Those wishing to attend the Combined SABER/PAVING Industry Day meeting must RSVP in writing by contacting both the following Contracting Points of Contact (POCs) No Later Than (NLT) Thursday, 24 August 2017, at 3:00 PM PST: Lucy Ngiraswei, lucille.ngiraswei@us.af.mil, 805-606-2469 Jeffrey Grelck, jeffrey.grelck@us.af.mil, 805-606-9760 The RSVP must contain the following information: 1. Progam: (Identify SABER or PAVING or Both) 2. Company Name 3. CAGE Code 4. DUNS & Bradstreet Number 5. Names of Attendees (Contractor attendees will be limited to three (3) individuals per company due to limited room capacity) ***For individuals who do not currently possess a base pass/identification allowing access to Vandenberg AFB, please provide the date of birth and driver's license number (or social security number) for each individual requesting a base pass to the Contracting POCs identified above. Please note that RAPID Gate does not work at Vandenberg AFB.*** 6. A request for a one-on-one meeting (If desired). ***One-on-one meetings will not be for the purpose of discussing capabilities, but will be for the purpose of receiving industry feedback on the draft solicitations, specifications, and requirements.*** Upon receipt of the RSVP, a confirmation of receipt will be sent by one of the Contracting POCs with additional information regarding the meeting venue. If you do not receive confirmation by 4:00 PM PST on Thursday, 24 August 2017, please contact the Contracting POCs identified above. Questions in response to the Combined SABER/PAVING Industry Day shall be submitted in writing to the attention of the Contracting POCs NLT Friday, 01 Sep 2017 at 12:00 PM PST. Attendance to the Combined SABER/PAVING Industry Day is not mandatory for contractors interested in the SABER/PAVING programs. Contractors that cannot attend are encouraged to email questions to the Contracting POCs identified above. The Government will not be liable for any costs contractors may incur as a result of the Combined SABER/PAVING Industry Day or feedback provided.
