- Reclamation intends to award a fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, R17PS01355, (written) is approximately the second week of August 2017. The anticipated closing date is the third week of August. The anticipated award date is the fourth week of August. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to awarding any contract resulting from this solicitation. The Government anticipates an Option Year Purchase Order with a Base and four (4) option years to be awarded to a single vendor. The estimated Period of Performance is: Base Year: 11/1/2017-10/31/2018 Option Year 1: 11/1/2018-10/31/2019 Option Year 2: 11/1/2019-10/31/2020 Option Year 3: 11/1/2020-10/31/2021 Option Year 4: 11/1/2021-10/31/2022 These Services will be purchased in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 13, and 13.5 simplified acquisition procedures apply. This requirement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation. The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) has a requirement for dedicated tactical response services of personnel trained in Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). Training on-site is required to maintain a high level of tactical readiness by a supporting law enforcement tactical team, and to cultivate personal contacts necessary for preparedness to respond jointly with Reclamation personnel against threats to a National Critical Infrastructure. Reclamation anticipates this training and preparedness requirement to be fulfilled by one tactical team. This is unrestricted under NAICS code 922120. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will evaluate quotes based upon factors listed in the solicitation.
