- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service, Contracting and General Services, Region 7 in Anchorage, Alaska intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract award on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with FAR 13 for coordination of Culturally sensitive educational training services for USFWS to Non Profit Chugach Regional Resources Commission DUNS: 884237561, ANCHORAGE, AK, 995083463 The Alaska Native relation programs involve Alaska Native elders, who fly in from small villages across Alaska. This effort requires firsthand experience in tribal government, trust relationship with U.S. government, and numerous other Alaska Native topics. The eligible vendor must be trusted to adequately host Alaska Native elders (have lived in a village, can communicate at the correct tempo, be patient), have knowledge of the laws that impact Alaska Native peoples, and be able to quickly and efficiently provide logistics for training events. Chugach Regional Resources Commission is the only local source that represents numerous federally recognized tribes for natural resources services. Their staff is immersed in the legal/political trust relationship between tribal governments and Federal government. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 611710 Educational support Services with a size standard of $15M. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Chugach Regional Recourses Commission on. No other solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if the party can perform the requirement This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
