- Page 1 of 1 THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. No responses are required. This notice is to announce that the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822-5201 has an immediate requirement for Lean consulting and coaching services for Lean Transformation and deployment of Management for Daily Improvement (MDI) system. A solicitation will be issued on or about August 21, 2017. Resulting contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract for a base and four (4) one-year option periods. Specific Contractor qualifications required: Experience facilitating and completing Lean Transformations and have working knowledge of and access to (for benchmarking purposes) other similarly sized healthcare organizations Lean Journey processes. Experience in Lean Management coaching for Executive Leaders including strategy development and deployment using a Transformational Plan of Care model. Experience in coaching healthcare leaders and frontline supervisors on process control boards, operational boards (MESS Boards), and value streams. Experience in developing a roadmap to teach, guide, and deploy Daily Management for Improvement cells throughout a healthcare system Ability to certify multiple levels of Lean Six Sigma training, and Ability to deploy staff/coaches who are/were medical doctors
