- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912J2-17-R-2518 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, Effective 19 January 2017. It is the contractors' responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns; however, in the event that no Small Business concerns can meet the requirement the set-aside will be withdrawn and an award will be made to a Large Business. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 332999 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This is a firm fixed price type contract to provide the Fall Protection reels and offer a credit of unused reels. Or equal will be considered but must meet salient characteristics. Please provide or equal documentation for technical review. Please submit a quote for the following line item: CLIN 0001 - Ultra-Lok RSQ 50' Dual-Mode Built-In Rescue Operation - Ultra-lok Self Retracting Lifeline MFR: DBI Sala P/N: 3504550 Qty 18 Each Requesting Credit/Return of the following items - 1. Self-Retracting Lifeline 30' Galv 3/16" Cable MFR: Reliance Fall Protection P/N: 4000030-1 QTY: 11 Each (Qty 2 in Brand New box, Qty 9 used) 2. Self-Retracting Lifeline 50' Galv 3/16" Cable MFR: Reliance Fall Protection P/N: 4000050-1 QTY: 4 Each (Qty 2 in Brand New box, Qty 2 used) Quotes will be evaluated based on lowest price that meets salient characteristics.
