- The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), has issued a solicitation for an 100% Small Business set­-aside, Firm Fixed ­Price contract for the Repairs/Upgrades to Exit Signage And Emergency Lighting For National Weather Service’s Sterling Field Support Center, Virginia. In with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is: less than $25,000. The NAICS code for this specialty is #238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors). The size standard is $15.0 million. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and supervision of qualified personnel to make repairs and improvements to the Sterling Field Support Center's exit signage and emergency lighting systems. This solicitation is issued as an Request for Quote (RFQ) which will result in the award of a single firm­fixed price (FFP) construction contract. The estimated performance period for completion of construction is 45 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).
