Description
Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify in locating capable small businesses, including Service Disabled and Veteran Owned small businesses, or any business size, capable of providing the items as listed in the attached Statement of Need. These items are for the Department of Veteran Affairs, Corporal Michael J Crescenz VAMC Philadelphia, PA. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, Point of Contact, business size info. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at donna.cooper2@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 2:00pm EST on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Questions can be submitted electronically to donna.cooper2@va.gov. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFQ. End of Document The Corporal Michael J Crescenz VAMC Medicine/Sleep Department i is looking to procure the CareFusion Nox T3 device. This portable sleep monitoring system is a type 3 device for unattended portable monitoring in the diagnosis of sleep apnea. THIS IS BRAND NAME OR EQUAL; Evaluation of this requirement will be based on PRICE ONLY. The following items are listed below: Functionality of a full-fledged sleep software and can navigate, score, review, report and export data. The technology is designed for wireless and miniaturization and increases comfort for patients. The Nox-T3 device is a multiple channel monitor. The device uses wireless technology: Bluetooth pulse oximeter, flexible channel for ECG, built-in microphone for respiratory sounds, actigraphy/body position, abdomen/thorax RIP effort and flow/pressure signal. The Nox-T3 device has a 1.5V AA battery power source during recording. It has 1 GB storage capacity with up to 24 hours including true audio recording.It uses Host PC USB during data download. The Nox-T3 device has an intuitive analysis and reporting software. There is fast data download and immediate results that viewable with configurable data management. Project Scope The Nox-T3 device will not require IT installation for this device for direct patient care. There are no plans to connect this equipment to the VA Network. Currently this device does not interface with the VA Network. A report is printed from the Sleep Monitor when the patient returns to the hospital into software that resides on a stand- alone PC. The staff then analyzes the data. There is no private health information, and no interfacing, and no private health informational feed bi-directional. Delivery: All items shall be delivered to: Department of Veteran Affairs, Corporal Michael J Crescenz VAMC, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
