- FBO Interested Vendors List Amendment 005 Amendment 005 SF-30 The purpose of this Amendment is to provide the interested vendors list from FBO as of 8/11/17 at 1PM CT, address a question related to payment for materials on hand, and to address a question related to the pump requirement. The response date is not extended. Please note that electronic submissions will be accepted. Q: If the contractor goes with option 2 will they be able to purchase material this year and be paid for materials on site? A: No. Payment for pipe remains as specified. Q: We have not been able to locate the pump that has been specified. Are you aware of any possible sources? A: The portable pump specified in the contract will most likely be found through suppliers of firefighting equipment. Portable pumps are routinely used in this line of work. There are a number of suppliers including Mercedes Textiles Limited, WaterAx, and National Fire Fighter Corporation. Other suppliers/manufacturers may produce similar pumps that meet the project specifications. Q: Do we need to bid both bid options? A: You are not required to bid both options. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
