- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ), W912P517T0062, to furnish and supply all materials, equipment and installation required for the fabrication and delivery of the High-Speed Gearbox Replacement at the Nickajack Lock Project. This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change. No solicitation document exists at this time. The Technical Specifications and Plans will be attached with the solicitation announcement. The solicitation is expected to be released on or around August 21, 2017. The product must be completed, delivered and installed no later than 180 days after contract award. NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: 333612 and 750 TYPE OF SET-ASIDE:100% Total Small Business Set-Aside ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement will be available in the solicitation. The solicitation documents will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of all potential quoters to monitor the FBO website for any amendments, updates, responses to industry questions/comments, etc. The Government will not be maintaining a mailing list. The project location has special security requirements that will be identified in the solicitation.
