- market survey DLA Maritime-Mechanicsburg is preparing to solicit a 5-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (See FAR 16.504). Anticipated Contract Structure is a 3 Year Base Ordering Period, plus 2 one-year option periods. NSN: 6145-01-645-4167 Description: Cable Assembly (Squid) PN: NAVSEA Drawing 8612486 Estimated Yearly QTY: 30 each AMC/AMSC: 1C AMC 1 = Suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time. AMSC C = This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. If one source is approved, AMCs 3, 4, or 5 are valid. If at least two sources are approved or if data is adequate for an alternate source to qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, AMCs 1 or 2 are valid. (CAGE 0DNZ3) Teledyne Instruments (CAGE 17476) TE Connectivity-Seacon Phoenix (CAGE 5GS63 / 7R5P2) **In order to be considered, Vendors must be "PRO-020" certified as approved by NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO-020/MLDG. The connectors utilized in the manufacturing of this cable are Source Controlled and the only approved sources are listed above. If you intend on offering an alternate connector, you must submit a Request for Variance (RFV) detailing your alternate product to the cognizant In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) and it must be approved prior to receiving any contract and/or order.** THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
