Description
This request for information provides advance notice to interested parties of a future procurement set-aside for competition between concerns certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration under its 8(a) small business development program that possess the capacity, experience, and interest in competing for ROS-BOS services in support of PMRF. No date has been set for the future release of a solicitation. This notice provides a rough draft of the rewritten, re-organized and revised Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Range Operations Support and Base Operations Support (ROS-BOS) Performance Work Statement (PWS), excluding attachments. BACKGROUND: The current contract, N0060409D0001, was awarded through the Small Business Administration ™s (SBA) 8(a) small business development program. The re-procurement of PMRF ROS-BOS services will be made through the SBA 8(a) program under NAICS 561210 Facilities Support Services. ROUGH DRAFT PWS ORGANIZATION: Section 1 “ Introduction. Section 2 “ General Scope. Section 3 “ Specific Scope. Services are subdivided into the following 5 separate functional areas: 3.1 General Management and Administration (Contract Overhead) 3.2 Base Sustainment 3.3 Base Communications 3.4 Base Operations 3.5 Range Operations Section 4 “ Service Performance Summary. Section 5 “ General Contract Requirements. INDUSTRY DAY The event is scheduled for September 11-12, 2017 on the Island of Kauai. Check-in for the event will begin at 8:00 AM on September 11, 2017 at the Waimea Theater located at 9691 Kaumualii Hwy in Waimea on the Island of Kauai. The current schedule includes an overview provided in the Waimea Theater on the morning of September 11th followed by an afternoon windshield tour of the Pacific Missile Range Facility Main Base. Site visits to outlying sites on the Island of Kauai are scheduled for September 12th. Presentations Slides will be available for download from this website by August 25, 2017. Paper copies of presentations will NOT be provided at the Industry Day. There will be no question and answer periods during the presentation, tour, or site visit. Questions shall be submitted in writing during each event or via e-mail. Answers will be provided via this website. Pre-registration for the Industry day is required. Due to Base security restrictions, verification of United States of America citizenship is required before participating in the tour or site visit. The following are considered acceptable proof of U.S. Citizenship: 1. A Valid United States of America Passport 2. U.S. birth certificate along with a U.S. Federal or State government-issued photo identification document 3. Naturalization Certificate with a U.S. Federal or State government-issued photo identification document 4. Certificate of Citizenship with a U.S. Federal or State government-issued photo identification document. The event will occur during Hurricane Season. Travelers are may view the latest tropical cyclone forecast at http://www.prh.noaa.gov/cphc/. Participants may attend at their own expense. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any participant expenses for this event. REGISTRATION: Interested parties shall complete and e-mail the attached registration form to PMRF_ROS-BOS@navy.mil by 1:00 PM Hawaiian Standard Time on August 31, 2017. QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS: Questions and comments on the attached files, regarding the Industry Day, or Briefing Materials (subsequent posts) may be submitted to PMRF_ROS-BOS@navy.mil. IMPORTANT NOTICE: No contract will be awarded from this announcement, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with reviewing the attached files or participation in the Industry Day.
