Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals (RFP) or request for quotes (RFQ) and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their SBA size classification in relation to NAICS 811219 Other Electronics and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 22, is seeking a source to perform on-site preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance inspections for the VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS). The Contractor shall provide the description item listed below: ITEM # DESCRIPTION EST QTY. UNIT UNIT COST 001 Cardiosave preventive and corrective maintenance S/N: CH223523K5 S/N: CH225058L5 12 Month $__________ Total $__________ All interested offerors who are capable of performing on-site preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance inspections shall provide a written response to this notice and include the following: Company name, Address, Point of contact, Phone, fax, and email, DUNS number, Cage Code, Tax ID Number, Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business. NOTE: If you are a SDVOSB or VOSB, please submit your certification from the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/), Provide a copy of your company s current Representations and Certifications from www.sam.gov, Must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to provide the requested items. Please provide an informal cost/price. Responses to this notice shall be emailed to the attention of Kevin H. Vo at Kevin.vo@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than August 18, 2017, 1:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). Ensure the following title is within the subject line of the email: VA262-17-N-1732: Preventive Maintenance Inspections After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published to www.FBO.gov. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offeror(s) will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. Important information: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.
